Usually, a pintxo is simply a slice of bread with something delicious on top, like freshly sliced pata negra ham or sardines. But it can also come in other creative forms with various seasonal vegetables. If you are very hungry, several different pintxos can make a complete meal, but if you just want a quick and tasty snack to go with what you have in your glass, one or two pintxos are perfect.
